Military water retardant gas mask bag

There may be marks/stains/scratches or repairs, but it is still in functioning order. Gas mask bags were often repurposed for other roles such as carrying first aid gear, cameras or gear that needs to keep dry - there are plenty of things these can be repurposed for in the civilian world as well! As with all gas mas bags these have a external pouch and some internal ones as well for various accessories such as filters or spare lenses etc.

The bag is divided into two compartments, one on top of the other. These are mostly half a century old now and the rubber may be somewhat tacky but will resist water to a certain degree. Interesting and useful bag with water re-sistant outer. These bags are built with a rubberised coating to protect the mask and its components from water and CBRN environments. The British Army adopted the S6 gas mask from 1966 to 1986 before its replacement by the S10 - these bags are what the S6 was issued with.
